Supporting Your Birth Journey
Hi, I’m Emily ~
Wife, mama, doula, and L&D nurse are all titles I go by. My passion for birth started in my own journey to motherhood which can best be described as ‘beauty from pain’. I became a doula first, and then went on to become a L&D nurse. I have worked at level II and level III hospitals, where I have taken care of those with high-risk pregnancies, but also those requesting minimal interventions.
Birth is an incredible experience for a woman and should be supported and encouraged at each stage of their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. It is important to give birth where you feel the most supported and safe, whether that is at home, at a birth center, or at a hospital.
When I am not supporting a laboring mom, you can find me spending time outside with my family, baking, and chauffeuring my kids to various activities.
Now that you know a little about me, I would love to get to know you!
